Youth, Arts and Cultural Practices
As part of the Youth Conference "Youth Narratives and Cultural Practices: Across the Globe in the 20th and 21st Century", to be held from 2nd to 4th November 2026, we are organising a series of cultural activities to give youth an opportunity to express their ideas and perspectives on the themes of the conference through different art forms.
Activities
Participants may take part in any of the following activities:
- Poster Making
- Postcard Making
- Poetry Writing
- Monologue Writing
- Song Writing
- Reel Making

We look forward to the enthusiastic participation and creative contributions of young people in making the conference a vibrant platform for art, expression, dialogue, and social engagement.
Important Points to Note
- Participants may participate in more than one activity.
- First and Second Prizes in each activity category will be awarded on the last day of the conference, i.e., 4th November 2026.
- Participants must use their own colours, chart paper, stationery, or any other materials needed for the activity.
- All entries must be original and must relate directly to one or more of the themes listed above.
- All entries, physical and digital, shall be submitted by Tuesday, 20th October 2026, by 5:00 PM.
- Entries for poetry, monologue, song, and reel may be submitted through the Submission QR code, which will be updated on this webpage in due course.
- Information regarding the venue and submission timings for physical poster and postcard entries will be updated on this webpage soon.
- Selected entries in each activity category will be featured as part of the cultural exhibition during the main conference.
- Detailed guidelines on the duration, format, and technical requirements for all activity categories will be available on the submission form.
