MEMBERS OF THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE

1. Dr. Lovey Srivastava, Convenor

Dr. Lovey SR is an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Latin American Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She was an Erasmus fellow at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium. She specializes in language teaching, culture, cinema, and reception studies of India, Latin America, and Spain.

2. Amita Singal, Executive Officer

Ms Amita Singal has been associated with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for over a decade. As a member of the Organizing Committee, she is involved in administrative coordination and logistical support, contributing to the smooth execution of conference-related activities.

3. Anandi Pandey, Researcher

Anandi Pandey is a Field Investigator for an ICSSR funded research project under Dr. Lovey Srivastava titled, “The Literature and Culture Around Student and Youth Movements in India and Latin America in 20th and 21st Century”. They have completed their MSc in International Politics from School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. They are broadly interested in subjects of disability, gender, queer rights, labour rights, market politics and studying developmental processes of fields like history and literature.

4. Shubhangi Pathak, Researcher

Shubhangi Pathak is a Field Investigator for an ICSSR funded research project under Dr. Lovey Srivastava titled, “The Literature and Culture Around Student and Youth Movements in India and Latin America in 20th and 21st Century”. She has completed her Advanced Master's in Latin American Studies from CEDLA, University of Amsterdam. Her areas of interest are marginalization of youth, violence against youth and cultural and structural approaches to violence.

5. Geeta Kumari, Academic & PR executive

Geeta Kumari is a Ph.D. research scholar in Spanish and Latin American Literature and Culture at CSPILAS, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her academic journey reflects engagement with Hispanic studies and the comparative cultural landscapes of India, Spain, and Latin America. She also serves as a Research Assistant for an ICSSR-funded project under the supervision of Dr. Lovey Srivastava. Her academic curiosity blends with texts and visual culture with interdisciplinary intersections.

6. Jitendra Singh, logistics Incharge

My self Jitendra Singh, Currently I am pursuing my masters in Spanish language from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

7. Prashant Verma, Web & Social Media Coordinator

Prashant is a Bachelor’s student at the Centre of Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Latin American Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has previously completed a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Galgotias University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. His academic interests include history, sociology, economics, and the role of technology in society.
